 ABOUT SUDBURYTV

SudburyTV is a non-profit corporation dedicated to fostering the production and cablecasting of public and governmental access programming for residents and organizations of Sudbury, Massachusetts.

OUR HISTORY

Founded in June of 2008 by members of Sudbury's Cable Committee, we have been contracted by the Town of Sudbury to provide local TV services to the town. On September 2nd, 2008, we started operating the former Comcast facilities at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School (L/S) and the Town Hall.

Our operation is funded entirely by Comcast and Verizon via restricted payments to the town. These payments are drawn from Sudbury cable subscriber fees.

WHAT WE DO

SudburyTV staff, with the help of volunteers, produce and cablecast:
  • Town Meetings, Selectmen Meeting, Finance Committee, School Committee, and many other public meetings
  • Locally-produced programming, including interviews, interest shows, town and political forums, senior center, library, and other local organization presentations and events.
  • School events, graduation, musical presentations, and sports.
  • The HOPESudbury Telethon
  • Publically-available shows of interest
We also provide individualized training and group classes at no charge! Contact us if you have an event you'd like to see cablecast or are interested in assisting on other programs or in helping grow our organization. We welcome your involvement!

WHERE TO FIND US

You can watch us on our TV channels: Public/Government (Comcast 8/Verizon 31), Educational (Comcast 9/Verizon 32). We also make most of our programming available on-demand, and both our Public/Government and Educational channels are streamed live on the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can also visit us on Facebook to stay informed of our latest programs, discuss programming ideas, or find out about upcoming training.
Our studio is located inside of the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Come visit us!
